Tessa shows up already knowing how your business works

Pick your industry when you start and Tessa adjusts what she treats as urgent, what she focuses on in meeting minutes and which routines she suggests. Change it whenever you like.

What's urgent at a clinic isn't what's urgent at an agency

For a clinic, a cancellation for tomorrow morning is urgent. For an online store, it's an incomplete order or a shipping issue. For an agency, it's the client asking for changes the day before delivery. A generic assistant treats every email the same and takes weeks to learn what matters in your business.

Starting from a blank tool is hard too: you have to figure out what to automate, which rules to set and what to ask for. Plenty of small teams stall in week one simply because they don't know where to begin.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

    Choose your industry

During signup, in the Tessa step, or later from Settings: agency, healthcare, ecommerce, SaaS, consulting, real estate or other.

  2. 2

    Tessa tunes her judgment

She gets a hint about what's typically urgent in your industry when triaging email, and what to emphasize when writing minutes.

  3. 3

    She suggests routines

Routines shows ideas built for your type of business. Import the ones that fit and adjust them.

  4. 4

    Plus sensible defaults

The template includes an initial setup for which actions need approval, applied only where an admin hasn't already chosen.

What changes by industry (examples)

Each template is a short set of instructions for Tessa plus a couple of starter routines. It isn't a different product: every feature works the same in every industry; the template only changes where Tessa looks first. A few examples of what each one pays attention to:

  • Agency: client changes, approvals and delivery dates come first; suggested routine, a per-client Monday summary.
  • Healthcare: appointments, cancellations and patient questions are top priority, and drafts never offer diagnoses or medical advice.
  • Ecommerce: order issues, shipping, returns and payments rank high; automated store notifications rank low.
  • SaaS: outages, bugs blocking customers, renewals and investors; suggested routine, a draft weekly update on Fridays.
  • Consulting: scope, deliverables and hours or budget in the minutes; follow-ups on unanswered proposals.
  • Real estate: viewings, offers and transaction paperwork; today's viewings every morning.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

Which industries are available?

Agency, healthcare, ecommerce, SaaS, consulting, real estate and a generic “other” option for everything else. We'll add more based on what teams ask for.

Can I change industry later?

Yes, from Settings. The change applies to what Tessa does from then on; minutes already written, for example, aren't regenerated.

Does the template change my approvals?

It only fills in what you haven't configured. If an admin already chose a policy for a type of action, that stays.

My industry isn't listed. Will it still work?

Yes. With the generic option Tessa works just as well; she'll simply learn your priorities through use instead of starting from an industry hint.

Do suggested routines switch on automatically?

No. They appear as suggestions in Routines and only run once you import them. Before saving you can change the wording, the time or the trigger.

Is the template the same as the learning from my edits?

No, they work together. The template is the starting point for the whole company; on top of it, each person's edits teach Tessa their own style and priorities.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.
