Tessa takes the notes, assigns the work and sends the recap

She joins your call as “Tessa (note taker)” or reads the transcript Google Meet saves. When the meeting ends you have the minutes, action items with owners and dates, and a recap already sent to everyone who was there.

What gets said in a meeting is gone within the hour

It's the same story everywhere: someone tries to take notes while also taking part, the notes end up in a notebook or a doc nobody reopens, and tasks are handed out verbally. A week later nobody remembers who was sending the proposal, or by when.

Transcription tools fix the typing, but leave you with a long wall of text that someone still has to read, summarize and turn into tasks. They also tend to stop at the meeting itself, disconnected from the rest of your work.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

    Tessa shows up

In meetings with several attendees, Tessa joins as a visible participant, “Tessa (note taker)”, with a card saying she's taking notes. With Google Meet she can also use the transcript or notes Meet saves to your Drive.

  2. 2

    She writes the minutes

Summary, decisions and action items. Each task gets an owner, a priority, a due date and the details mentioned (recipients, links, numbers).

  3. 3

    She hands out the work

Tasks are created for each owner, and Tessa reminds them as the due date approaches.

  4. 4

    She sends the recap

Internal attendees get it on Slack and by email. External attendees only get it once you approve.

What you get

  • Action items, not just textWhat was agreed becomes assigned work with a date and follow-through.
  • Real namesWhen the platform provides named captions, Tessa knows who said what and who each task belongs to.
  • External recaps need approvalSummaries going to clients or suppliers wait for your OK before they leave.
  • Feeds your company memoryDecisions flow into the wiki and stay searchable later, with their source.
  • Personal data protectedEmails and phone numbers are swapped for placeholders before the AI model sees them, then restored when the minutes are saved.
  • Strong in Spanish and EnglishMinutes read naturally in either language, including mixed-language calls.

Supported platforms

Google Meet is the most complete option today: Tessa can join as a participant or read the transcript Meet stores in Drive. Zoom and Microsoft Teams work with the same “Tessa (note taker)” participant and are in beta. Meeting recordings are part of the Business plan.

Ten minutes before your next call with the same people, Tessa also sends you a short brief with what was decided last time and which of those tasks are still open, so the minutes keep paying off after the meeting is over.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

Do attendees know Tessa is taking notes?

Yes. Tessa joins as a regular participant named “Tessa (note taker)”, with an image showing she's taking notes. It's still good practice to mention it at the start, especially with external guests.

Does it work with Zoom and Teams?

Yes, in beta. The note-taking participant joins Meet, Zoom and Teams. With Google Meet, Tessa can also read the transcript Meet saves to your Drive.

Who can see the minutes?

The people from your company who attended. Minutes aren't published to the whole team unless someone shares them.

How much does it cost?

Meeting notes are part of the Team and Business plans, with a 14-day free trial. Each meeting uses AI credits based on its length; the full cost table is on the pricing page.

How is this different from a transcription tool?

Tessa doesn't stop at the transcript. She creates owned tasks, chases commitments, sends the recap and saves decisions to your company memory, all connected to your email and Slack.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.
