Google Drive with AI: documents that already know your business

Tessa writes into your Drive with context from your email, meetings and clients, and uses the shared folder to keep the team’s memory alive.

The blank template and the folder nobody can find

A client proposal should take half an hour. Instead you copy the last one, swap names, and dig through email to find exactly what they asked for and what price you quoted. Generic writing assistants don’t help much because they know nothing about that client.

Meanwhile the team’s know-how lives in docs called “processes v3 final”. When someone new joins or you need to recall a decision, nobody knows which file is the right one.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

    Connect Google

The same connection used for Gmail and Calendar covers Drive. No files to move, no folder changes.

  2. 2

    Ask for the document

“Draft the proposal for Acme” or “formal minutes for Tuesday’s meeting”. Supported types: proposal, text quote, formal minutes, investor email and other.

  3. 3

    Tessa gathers context

She uses what you can see: your email with that contact, minutes, the wiki and, if connected, Holded and your CRM. Emails and phone numbers are masked before reaching the model.

  4. 4

    You get the Google Doc

The doc is created in your Drive, shared with nobody, and you get the link. You review it and decide who sees it.

What you get

  • Drafts built on real dataNames, amounts and agreements come from your conversations, not a generic template.
  • Nothing is shared by itselfEvery document starts private in your Drive. Sharing is your call.
  • A wiki that writes itselfFrom the shared folder, Tessa extracts decisions and processes with their source, respecting who can see what.
  • Search across everythingOne search box for docs, email, Slack, minutes and tasks, with Tessa’s answers citing their sources.
  • Meet minutes for freeWhen Google Meet saves a transcript or Gemini notes to Drive, Tessa turns them into minutes with tasks.

What Tessa reads from your Drive

Tessa doesn’t index your whole Drive by default. She reads the documents she needs to answer or draft, the company’s shared folder for the wiki, and the meeting transcripts Meet leaves there. Wiki pages are only visible to people who could already see their sources.

  • Reads Docs and other text files for context.
  • Creates Google Docs in your Drive, unshared.
  • The monthly investor update is also saved as the admin’s private Doc.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Google Drive to Tessa?

Connect your Google account in My connections. The same consent covers Gmail, Calendar and Drive.

Can Tessa see every file in the company?

Tessa works within each person’s permissions: what you can’t open, she won’t show you. The wiki only uses the shared folder, and each page inherits the narrowest audience of its sources.

Can it write a sales proposal for me?

Yes. It drafts in English or Spanish using your conversations with that client and leaves it in your Drive for review.

Are documents shared with the client automatically?

No. They’re created private in your Drive. You decide whether to share, edit or bin them.

Where is the data stored?

Your documents stay in Google Drive. What Tessa keeps in order to work (indexes, summaries, the wiki) is stored encrypted on servers in the EU.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.
