Walk into every meeting knowing what it's about

Ten minutes before it starts, Tessa sends you a short brief: who's attending, what was said last time and which tasks are still open with those people. No digging required.

Back-to-back calls, and you go into each one blind

You've got a client call at noon and the previous one ran over. You open your calendar, see the company name and try to remember: what did we promise them? Who's the new person on the invite? Did the proposal go out? You're still searching your inbox while they say hello.

Preparing properly takes fifteen minutes you rarely have: the latest thread, the notes from last time, the loose ends. So most of the time it doesn't happen, and it shows.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

    Tessa checks your calendar

With your Google Calendar connected, she knows which meetings you have and who's in them.

  2. 2

    She gathers context

She looks up your latest exchanges with those people, previous meeting minutes and related open tasks, using only what you can already see.

  3. 3

    You get one short message

Ten minutes ahead, it arrives in your Tessa chat, on Slack and, if you turn it on, as a phone notification.

  4. 4

You start with a clear next step

Read it in a minute and begin the meeting knowing what needs to be closed.

What you get

  • Zero prep workYou don't have to ask. It arrives on its own before every meeting with attendees.
  • The essentials in a minuteA short brief, not a report: who's coming, what happened, what's missing.
  • Wherever you areIn the app, in Slack or on your phone, so you can read it on the way in.
  • Respects what you can seeYour brief only uses your email, your minutes and what's been shared with you. Never a colleague's mailbox.
  • Builds on meeting notesIf Tessa took notes last time, those decisions and tasks show up in the next brief.

A sample brief

To give you an idea, a typical brief reads like this: “Kirai meeting in 10 minutes. Laura is joining (you know her) along with their new head of operations. Last time you agreed to revise the quote for the scope change; you sent it Monday and haven't heard back. You still have the task ‘draft delivery schedule’ open.” Three sentences and you know where to start.

Doing it by hand

If you'd rather prepare manually, the method is the same: read the last thread with the attendees, skim the previous minutes, write down what you promised and what they promised, and decide what outcome you want when the call ends. Our five-minute meeting prep guide walks through it step by step, including a checklist you can reuse.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

Which meetings get a brief?

Meetings on your calendar with other people. If there's no prior context with the attendees, the brief is shorter or simply tells you who's coming.

Can I ask for a brief at another time?

Yes. Ask Tessa whenever you like, for example “what's open with Kirai?”, and she'll answer with what she finds, citing her sources.

Does it read my colleagues' email?

No. Prep only uses what you can already see: your own email, minutes from meetings you attended and what's shared across the company. Everyone's mailbox stays private.

Does it work with Outlook?

Yes, with Microsoft 365 in beta. Tessa reads your Outlook calendar the same way she reads Google Calendar.

What does it cost?

Meeting prep is part of the paid plans and uses a few credits per meeting. You can try it free for 14 days.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.
