A profile for every client, filled in for you
Tessa builds a profile for each person you work with from your email, tasks, meetings and the documents you can see. Open a name and the whole story is there.
CRMs end up empty because nobody has time to feed them
In plenty of small companies the CRM starts with good intentions and is out of date within three months. Logging every call and email is extra work that always gets pushed to later, so the real client history lives in whoever's inbox handles that account.
When you need to know what happened with a client, you end up searching email, Slack and meeting notes separately. If the person who ran the account is on holiday, good luck.
How it works with Tessa
- 1
Tessa reads your triaged email
Only real senders count: no automated alerts, newsletters or colleagues.
- 2
She builds the profile
For each contact she brings together your conversation history, open items, upcoming meetings, and related minutes and documents you already have access to.
- 3
Your CRM, if you have one
If you use HubSpot or Pipedrive (beta), the profile also shows their record and open deals.
- 4
Browse it or just ask
Open the profile from Contacts, or ask Tessa “what's going on with Kirai?” and get an answer with sources.
What you get
- Zero data entryProfiles stay current through your normal work. No logging calls or emails.
- Everything in one placeEmail, tasks, meetings and documents for that client, side by side.
- Private to youYour contacts are built from your own mailbox and only you can see them.
- Plays well with your CRMAlready on HubSpot or Pipedrive? Tessa adds to it instead of replacing it.
- Powers your meeting prepThe same information feeds the briefs you get before each meeting.
Do I still need a CRM?
It depends on your team. If you're small and mostly need to know where each client stands without maintaining yet another tool, Contacts plus the Sales pipeline is often enough. If you already run a CRM with processes, reports and automations, connect it: Tessa reads its open deals, flags the ones at risk and can add notes, always with your approval.
What it doesn't do
Contacts isn't a company-wide directory built from everyone's mailbox. Each person has their own, because each person's email is private. To share what you know about a client, use a meeting with minutes, a channel or the company wiki.
What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.
Frequently asked questions
Can my colleagues see my contacts?
No. Your profiles are built from your own email and tasks and are private. What's shared is the minutes, documents and wiki pages each person can already see.
Does it sync with HubSpot or Pipedrive?
Yes, in beta. If the contact's email exists in your CRM, the profile shows the record and open deals. Adding notes to the CRM needs your approval.
What about automated emails?
They're left out. Tessa only creates profiles for real senders, not notifications, newsletters or addresses at your own company.
Is it a free CRM?
Contacts is part of the Team plan, with a 14-day free trial. You don't need to pay for a separate CRM to get the profiles.
Can I see a contact's sales opportunities?
Yes. When Tessa spots a deal with that client in your email, it appears in Sales and the profile links to it. With HubSpot or Pipedrive connected, their open deals show up too.
What if a client emails several people on the team?
Each person gets their own profile with their own conversations. For a shared view, put the context somewhere the team can see it: a channel, a meeting with minutes or the company wiki.
