AI notes for Zoom meetings: minutes, tasks and recap, handled

If the invite has a Zoom link, Tessa joins, takes notes and turns what was agreed into tasks with owners.

This connection is in beta: it works, but we are still testing it with real accounts.

Zoom calls with clients, notes nowhere

Plenty of clients and partners still send Zoom invites even if your company runs on Google or Microsoft. Those calls are often the important ones (a demo, a negotiation, a project kick-off) and the worst documented.

Taking notes while you present or negotiate is close to impossible, and nobody rewatches the recording afterwards.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

The meeting is on your calendar

No Zoom connection required. Tessa spots the Zoom link in the invite on your Google Calendar or Outlook.

  2. 2

    Tessa joins at the start

She joins as “Tessa (toma notas)”, with a camera card letting everyone know notes are being taken.

  3. 3

    Minutes with real names

She uses the meeting’s captions, which include who is speaking, to assign each task to its owner. Without captions, she transcribes the audio and tells speakers apart.

  4. 4

    Recap and reminders

The recap goes to your company’s attendees by Slack and email; to external ones only with your approval. Each owner gets their reminders.

What you get

  • Nothing to install in ZoomNo marketplace apps and no Zoom admin permissions.
  • Works on other people’s meetingsIf a client invites you to their Zoom, Tessa can still join, because all she needs is the link.
  • Agreements become workAction items land in Tessera, each with its owner and due date, and owners get the reminders.
  • Transparent for everyoneThe note-taker shows up by name. Attendees can ask for it to leave if they’d rather not have notes.
  • Clear costThe note-taker uses credits per quarter-hour of meeting. If you’re out of credits, it doesn’t join.

Before using it with clients

Telling people notes are being taken is good practice and, in many meetings, a legal duty. Tessa’s note-taker identifies itself in the call, but we recommend mentioning it in the invite when outsiders attend. The integration is in beta: the note-taker is built but hasn’t yet been tested enough on real Zoom meetings.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get an AI to take notes in Zoom?

Connect your Google or Microsoft calendar to Tessera. When a meeting with a Zoom link is about to start, Tessa sends her note-taker.

Do I need to connect my Zoom account?

No. Tessa only needs the meeting link, which she reads from your calendar invite.

Can it handle meetings in Spanish?

Yes. Tessa writes the minutes in the language the meeting was held in.

What if the host uses a waiting room?

The note-taker waits to be admitted like any other guest. If nobody lets it in, there are no minutes.

Which plan is it on?

Meeting notes are on the Team and Business plans, with a 14-day free trial.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.
