OneDrive with AI: Word documents written with context

Tessa uses your OneDrive files to answer with facts and leaves proposals, quotes and minutes in Word format, ready for review.

This connection is in beta: it works, but we are still testing it with real accounts.

The files are in OneDrive, but nobody can find them

In many Microsoft 365 companies the important stuff lives in Word files scattered across personal and shared folders. Finding the latest version of an offer or the right procedure means asking a colleague.

And when you need a new document, you start by copying an old one and fixing what changed by hand, hoping you didn’t leave the previous client’s name in.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

    Connect Microsoft 365

The Microsoft connection covers Outlook, calendar and OneDrive with one consent. Each person connects their own.

  2. 2

    Tessa searches and reads

When you ask her something, she can search your OneDrive and read text and Word files to answer with facts.

  3. 3

    Ask for a document

“Draft the quote for Nimbus.” Tessa writes it from your email, minutes and, if connected, Holded or CRM data.

  4. 4

Find it in the “Tessa” folder

The document is saved as a .docx file in a “Tessa” folder in your OneDrive. Open it in Word, polish it and decide whether to share.

What you get

  • A format you already usePlain Word files, no odd templates or proprietary formats.
  • Teams recordings become minutesRecordings saved to OneDrive follow the same path as Meet ones: transcript, minutes and tasks.
  • Answers with sourcesWhen Tessa uses a document to answer, she tells you which one.
  • Nothing is shared by itselfDocuments are created in your OneDrive and only seen by whoever you choose.

Good to know

The OneDrive integration is in beta: it follows Microsoft Graph’s documentation but hasn’t yet been tested against enough real accounts. Documents Tessa creates are deliberately simple (headings and paragraphs) so you can adapt them to your house style. If you mix Google and Microsoft, some company-wide features still use the Google account.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect OneDrive to Tessa?

Connect your Microsoft 365 account in My connections. The same consent covers mail, calendar and files.

Can Tessa edit my existing documents?

Tessa reads documents for context and creates new ones. She doesn’t rewrite your existing files.

What format are the documents in?

Word (.docx), inside a folder called “Tessa” in your OneDrive. If a file with the same name exists, she creates a new one rather than overwriting it.

Does it work with SharePoint?

For now Tessa works with each person’s OneDrive. SharePoint libraries aren’t supported.

Who sees the documents Tessa creates?

Only you, until you choose to share them. What Tessa keeps in order to work is stored encrypted in the EU.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.
