AI notes for Microsoft Teams meetings: minutes and tasks, done

Tessa joins the Teams call as “Tessa (toma notas)”, writes the minutes and hands each owner their tasks.

This connection is in beta: it works, but we are still testing it with real accounts.

Meetings in Teams, agreements nowhere

If your company lives in Microsoft 365, meetings happen in Teams: with clients, suppliers, the team. A lot gets said and little gets written down. Tasks end up living in people’s heads.

Microsoft’s own AI features may need extra licences and stay inside the Microsoft world. If you also use Slack, Holded or a CRM, what gets agreed never reaches where the work happens.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

    Connect your calendar

With Microsoft 365 (or Google, if your Teams invites land there), Tessa sees which events carry a Teams link.

  2. 2

    Tessa joins the call

When the meeting starts she joins as “Tessa (toma notas)”, with a camera card telling everyone notes are being taken.

  3. 3

    Minutes with owners

Afterwards: summary, decisions and tasks with owner, priority and due date. She uses the meeting’s captions, which carry each speaker’s name.

  4. 4

    Recap and follow-up

Attendees inside your company get the recap by Slack and email. External attendees only get it once you approve.

What you get

  • No IT ticket neededThe note-taker joins like any other guest. Nothing to install in Teams.
  • Tasks that leave TeamsAction items land in Tessera with their owner, next to your Jira, Trello or Asana tasks if you connect them.
  • OneDrive recordingsIf you save Teams recordings to OneDrive, Tessa can transcribe them and write the minutes.
  • Reminders for each ownerEveryone is nudged about their own items on the due date, with nobody having to chase.
  • Visible and transparentThe note-taker appears by name. Nobody records in secret.

What it doesn’t do yet

This integration is in beta. The note-taker works with Teams links, but it doesn’t read the native transcripts Teams creates itself (those need tenant-admin permissions). Teams chats don’t feed your inbox yet either: for now Tessa works with Outlook email, the calendar and OneDrive.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add an AI note-taker to Teams?

Connect your calendar to Tessera. When a meeting with a Teams link is about to start, Tessa sends her note-taker. No need to invite it by hand.

Do I need Copilot or a special Microsoft licence?

No. Tessa works with the Teams meetings you already have, with no extra Microsoft licences. Meeting notes are on Tessera’s Team and Business plans.

Can it take notes for meetings held in Spanish?

Yes. Tessa writes the minutes in the language of the meeting, Spanish or English.

Can Tessa create Teams meetings?

Yes. When she books a meeting from an Outlook email, the event gets a Teams link, except on personal Microsoft accounts, which don’t allow it.

Who can see the minutes?

The meeting’s participants. They aren’t published to the whole company, and decisions that reach the wiki keep that same audience.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.
