Your company's pulse, in one message a week

Tessa sums up what needs you: blocked or overdue tasks, clients waiting for an answer, outstanding invoices in Holded, metrics and cash, plus a suggestion for where to start.

You run the company and hear about problems once they're already problems

Running a small business means information coming at you from everywhere: email, Slack, the invoicing tool, the bank, meetings. What you don't get is the big picture: what's stuck, which payments are slipping, which client has been waiting for days.

The usual fix is to ask everyone for status reports or to watch who's doing what. The first eats your team's time; the second destroys trust and, in much of Europe, runs into employment and data protection law. There's a better way.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

    Tessa reviews shared work

Tasks in the company space (which the whole team can already see), public channels and your own email.

  2. 2

    She adds company figures

If connected: outstanding and overdue invoices from Holded, Stripe metrics and your bank balances.

  3. 3

    She writes the pulse

A short summary of what's urgent, what's blocked, money owed and a suggestion for what to handle first.

  4. 4

    It reaches you anywhere

In the app, on Slack and, if you turn it on, as a phone notification.

What you get

  • The big pictureWork, clients and money in one message.
  • Where to startNot just what's happening, but what to do first.
  • No reports to chaseYour team doesn't have to prepare anything.
  • No surveillanceNever includes individual metrics, anyone's hours, or what people read or write.
  • Company-level numbersCollections, cash and metrics are always aggregated, never per person.

An example

For instance: “Two Operations tasks blocked since Thursday, one for a client delivery due Monday. €4,300 in overdue invoices, the largest from Orbe (32 days). A client has been waiting on their proposal since Tuesday. I'd start by unblocking the delivery and chasing the Orbe invoice.”

Why there are no per-person metrics

It's a design decision we won't change at a customer's request. Measuring people one by one (hours, messages, activity) breeds mistrust, pushes people to work for the metric and, in Spain and the wider EU, carries serious legal implications. The pulse follows the work: what's stuck and what needs a decision.

Pairs well with commitment tracking

Because tasks from meetings carry an owner and a due date, the pulse can tell you which agreed items are slipping without anyone filing an update. The owners get their own reminders first, so by the time something shows up in your pulse it genuinely needs attention.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

Who gets the pulse?

Company owners and admins. Each receives it with their own email as context, plus what's shared.

Can I see what each employee is doing?

No. Tessera offers no individual metrics for managers. The pulse covers the work (tasks, blockers, clients, payments), not the people.

Do I need Holded or a bank connected?

No. Without them the pulse focuses on work and clients. With Holded, banks or Stripe connected (beta), it adds collections, cash and metrics sections.

How often does it arrive?

Weekly. You can also ask Tessa at any time, “what's blocked?” or “which invoices are outstanding?”.

Which plan includes it?

The paid plans. You can try it free for 14 days.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.
