An assistant for everyone on the team, in ten minutes

Invite people by email, each person connects their own accounts in one click, and Tessa starts working for them: their inbox, their meetings, their follow-ups. What Tessa reads for each person stays private.

At most companies, AI stops at three people with a subscription

In a lot of small businesses AI came in through the back door: one person pays for a chatbot, another uses the free tier, and everyone pastes in whatever they see fit. There's no shared approach, nobody knows what data leaves the company, and the rest of the team carries on as before.

Rolling something out to everyone feels like an IT project: accounts, permissions, training. And staff ask a fair question: “is this going to be used to monitor us?”.

How it works with Tessa

  1. 1

    Create your company

Sign up with Google, Microsoft or Slack. Nothing to install.

  2. 2

    Invite by email

From Team, enter your colleagues' addresses. Without another mail provider configured, invites go out from your own Gmail.

  3. 3

    Each person connects their own

Their Google (or Microsoft 365) and Slack, one click each. No keys, no IT help needed.

  4. 4

Tessa works for each of them

She triages their email, drafts their replies, takes notes in their meetings and reminds them of commitments, all from their own account.

What you get

  • Privacy per personWhat Tessa reads in someone's email and messages is visible to that person only.
  • Work, not surveillanceAdmins only see whether each person has connected Google and Slack (yes or no). Never their email or activity.
  • One shared approachA single tool with the same approval rules for everyone, set by the admin.
  • Data stored in the EUWhat Tessa stores is encrypted on servers in the European Union.
  • Start freeThe Free plan covers up to 3 people; the Team plan has no headcount limit.

What each role gets

A few examples of how different people at a small company use her:

  • Sales: deals that log themselves and follow-ups that don't slip.
  • Customer-facing staff: suggested replies across email, Slack and WhatsApp.
  • Leadership: a weekly pulse of the business and outstanding payments.
  • New hires: a welcome with context and someone to ask.

How to explain it to your team

Be clear from day one: Tessa works for each person, she doesn't report on them. Nobody can ask Tessa for someone else's email, and there are no individual metrics for managers. If you need it, our AI and GDPR guide includes template wording for the staff notice.

Rolling it out

A practical approach is to start with the people who live in their inbox, such as sales, account management or operations, let them use it for a couple of weeks, then invite the rest. Because each person connects their own accounts, there's no central migration to plan.

What Tessa reads for each person stays private, your data is stored in the EU and nothing goes out without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

Can my boss read what Tessa reads in my email?

No. What Tessa reads in your email and messages is visible only to you. Managers see shared team work such as tasks and blockers, never your mailbox or your activity.

Does everyone have to connect?

It isn't mandatory, but Tessa can only work for people who connect their accounts. Admins see who has connected Google and Slack so they can help, nothing more.

How much does it cost for a team?

Free for up to 3 people. Beyond that, the Team plan is priced per person per month with AI credits included, and there's a 14-day trial with no card required.

Does it work if some use Google and others Microsoft?

Yes. Each person connects whatever they use. Microsoft 365 is in beta.

How is this different from giving everyone ChatGPT?

A general chatbot waits for you to paste in context. Tessa is already connected to each person's email, calendar, Slack and meetings, works without being asked and requests approval for anything that leaves the company.

What does your team look like?

Same AI for both. Where you start is what changes.

    Grow without losing the thread

Tasks from email and Slack, follow-ups, sales and investors, without everything landing on the founders.

    What gets decided gets done

Minutes and tasks from every meeting, commitments that get followed up and a pulse per team, without watching anyone.
